D.A.'s War Room Coaching Call - The Science of Motivating Young People

This Zoom call explores how leaders can better motivate and engage young people by understanding the science behind adolescent and young adult development, based on the book 10-25: The Science of Motivating Young People by David Yeager. Participants will learn how the developing brains of people ages ten to twenty-five are highly sensitive to social rewards such as respect, pride, and admiration, while also being deeply affected by criticism, humiliation, and shame. The session highlights how leadership approaches can either inspire growth and accountability or unintentionally create disengagement and frustration.
